Don Hay, Founder and Chairman of Maid Brigade Inc, established his award-winning residential cleaning service in 1984, the same year that he become an American citizen.
Hay's first venture into business ownership was soon after he graduated Toronto's Ryerson University, when he developed a commercial cleaning business that grew to more than 500 employees. During that time, he also served as a director for the Building Maintenance Contractors Association of Canada in Toronto, and later as a director for the Building Service Contractors Association International in Washington, D.C. Until recently, Hay served on the board of directors of an international business broker corporation.
Hay resides in Destin, Florida, with his wife, Cathy, who has served many roles in Maid Brigade and currently oversees the Maid Brigade Veterans Franchise Giveaway program.
